I’m seeing a lot of burlap cropping up in design these days. It’s been around a lot but seems to be on the rise in terms of popularity.  It makes sense as it’s durable and has a nice rustic / shabby chic feel to it.  It’s also a really easy textile to work with if you want to stamp or stencil a pattern onto it.  And burlap comes in all kinds of “grades” these days so it can be a lot softer and more comfy that the scratchy burlap you may be accustomed to.
